Graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in 1968, KYAW KYAW’s formal education served as a solid foundation for his artistic pursuits. His skills were further refined under the mentorship of distinguished artists, U Thaung Han and U Kyaw Nyunt.
Notably, KYAW KYAW was the grandson of Mee-Bone-Pyan U Kyaw Yin, a renowned Burmese balloonist. This lineage added a rich historical dimension to his artistic heritage.
His contributions to the art world were prominently featured in esteemed publications, including Sanda Magazine, Shwe Thway Journal, and Shei Thou Journal. KYAW KYAW’s passing on July 10, 2021, marked the end of an era, but his legacy continues to celebrate the spirit of Myanmar’s culture and natural beauty, earning him recognition both nationally and internationally.
