

Ma Zaw, born in February 1959, is a distinguished Burmese artist and botanist. She pursued his education at Yangon University, earning a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Botany in 1984-1985. Ma Zaw’s artistic journey has been shaped under the guidance of renowned art masters such as U Mg Mg Thein in Pathein, U Htay Aung, U Khin Mg Than in Mandalay, U Soe Myint Sein, and U Aung Naing Mg.
Throughout the years, Ma Zaw’s artwork has been featured in various exhibitions, showcasing her talent and creativity. Notable exhibitions include showcases at Magic Art Gallery in Yangon (2010-2014), Mandalay Hill Art Gallery in Mandalay (2015), and the yearly Pan City Artist Exhibition from 2014 to 2019. She also participated in the Myanmar Ladies Art Exhibition and U Thu Kha Memorial in 2016-2017, and the Women’s Artist Exhibition in 2011.
