Kay Moe Ko

Kay Moe Ko

was born in Yangon in 1971. His work makes extensive use of black
and red, two colors Myanmar censors have long viewed with suspicion. For more
than a decade since 2004, he has participated in group shows in Yangon.

Born in Rangoon in 1967 and graduated from the Yangon (Rangoon) School of Fine Arts in 1988. He participated in numerous exhibitions since 1990 and his work is part of the collection at the National Museum in Rangoon. His painting “The Heart and Peace of ASEAN” was selected for an award in the 2001/2002 Philip Morris Myanmar Art Awards.

He has participated in over 40 group exhibition shows between 2005 and 2020, showcasing his unique style characterized by vibrant colors and meticulous attention to detail. Kyaw Min Han draws inspiration from his surroundings to create art that captures the cultural heritage and natural beauty of Myanmar. His unwavering passion and commitment have earned him recognition and admiration in Myanmar’s vibrant art scene.
